Neil’s Jiu-Jitsu journey started in 2001 at Relson Gracie’s “Main Academy” on Queen Street, Honolulu, and he counts himself fortunate to have taken classes directly from Relson Gracie. Neil has spent numerous years training within the Relson Gracie Association, and has learned from many talented Jiu-Jitsu practitioners. Neil believes there is always more to learn in Jiu-Jitsu, and he values the continual learning process that comes with training at the RSA. Neil has the added bonus of being able to train at the RSA with his son Isaac [who started at age 4 under Ronn Shiraki]. Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Lineage: Relson Gracie > Ronn Shiraki > Neil Verbrugge. |
