Ronn Shiraki is among a handful of Relson Gracie student's who has personally taken countless of group and private instructionals directly, in person, from Grandmaster Red Belt Relson Gracie. He was also one of the few known as a gatekeeper at the Relson's main academy on Queen St. in Honolulu. It was there that he bled and sweat on the mats with some of the world's top Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioners from every corner of the globe who came specifically to train with Relson. Ronn has won competition locally and on the mainland US - including the State Championships in Honolulu, Hawaii, Arnold Schwarzenegger-Gracie World Submission Championship in Columbus, OH and others.
Nicknamed Jedi by some of his peers and students, Ronn is considered to be one of Relson's most technical and dynamic instructors. His teaching and competing experience, proficiency, and genuine approach has allowed him to draw students from all backgrounds and occupations including members of the HPD, FBI, DEA, and every branch of the US Military. He loves teaching those who embrace the art of Jiu-Jitsu and finds joy in connecting with his loyal students and watching them evolve.
Ronn received a Bachelor's of Science in Human Development and a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology: fusing academic training into the mental and physical training of his students. His final master's project was titled Elite Athletes Experiencing Flow: From Construct Development to Outcomes and Challenges which was a comprehensive study on peak performance and professional athletes.
